Fairy Tail X Reader- Part 1

You were very nervous as you were walked down the streets of Magnolia. When you re-entered the city after being away for so many years it took your breath away. Your small bag that held the few belongings that you possessed swung back and forth as you walked. You began to have a lot of negative thoughts as you were getting closer to the guild hall.

“What if they don’t remember me?” you mumbled quietly to yourself as you saw the guild hall in the distance. You stopped walking for a moment to admire the new guild hall.

“I sure have missed a lot” you told yourself very quietly. You began to walk again so you weren’t in the way of others. Your breath quickened as you stood outside the guild hall. You looked up and sucked in a breath.

“Are you going in?” you heard a male’s voice ask behind you. You turned around to see a young man with the same scarf that your old friend Natsu wears and the same bright pink hair. You nodded your head not trusting your voice since you were so close to home.

“Alright then” the young man said before he went in to the Fairy Tail guild hall. You glanced into the guild hall through the doors that were left open while you brought a hand up to the eye patch that was on your right eye that covered up your Fairy Tail emblem. As you were about to step inside you clutched the pendent on your necklace that you were wearing. You stepped inside as you began to remember how you got the necklace in the first place.

Flashback
10 years ago

“Are you sure you have to leave (Name)” Master Makarov asked you asked stood outside the Fairy Tail guild hall. You nodded you head not trusting your voice and holding back your tears.

“We’ll be waiting for you to come back!” Natsu said as he hugged you.

“What if you forget me or you don’t recognize me?” you asked in a small voice as looked at every one with teary eyes.

“Wear this when you come back and we’ll know it’s you” Master Makarov said as he held out a beautiful necklace. The pendent was a small Fairy Tail symbol made up of small diamonds. You gasped when you saw it and immediately hugged Master Makarov.

“Thank you” you whispered as you struggled to hold back the tears that wanted to escape. You gently took the necklace and put it on.

“There! Now we’ll be able to know it’s you when we see you next!” Grey said as he hugged you tightly.

“I should be going. Make sure you don’t fight!” you told Natsu and Grey as you beamed towards them.

“I’ll make sure they won’t” Erza said as she smiled at you. You bid everyone a final goodbye before you picked up your small bag (A/N: It’s the same bag I mentioned earlier) and left while tears streamed down your face.

End of Flashback

You were pulled out of your thoughts as you reached the bar of the guild hall.

“Can I help you?” a young woman behind the counter asked. You thought she looked like Mira-Jane since she had the same long ash white hair as her but this young woman seemed too sweet to be the Mira you knew.

“Could you tell me where Master Makarov is?” you asked as you smiled softly.

“I’ll get him for you” she said as she turned around and walked away. You stood there quietly while you held the pendent of your necklace in your hands.

“Who’s this young lady?” you heard a voice say behind you. You turned around to see Master Makarov looking the same as when you last saw him. The same white hair, the same bright smile and the same shortness as you remembered him.

“Do you mind if we go somewhere private?” you asked since you weren’t ready for everyone else to know of your return. He nodded when he noticed your anxiousness to speak somewhere less crowded. He led you to a room which you assumed was his office. You sat in one of the seats in front of his desk when he motioned towards it.

“So what did you want to talk to me about young lady?” he asked clearly confused why a young girl wanted to speak with him. For the first time since you entered the building, you let go of the pendent of your necklace and brought your hand to rest in your lap.

“I’m home” you said as you smiled towards Makarov, letting him get a good view of the same necklace he gave to you 10 years ago.
