Fairy Tail X Reader- Part 4

You shuffled your feet as you waited for someone to say something. It was dead silent as people were shocked or still processing what Erza had said. Your eyes darted all around the room as you looked at people’s facial expressions.  Your heart sank when you saw people’s facial expression turn to a disgusted or unimpressed face, one by one.

“You think you can show up after 10 whole years and expect us not to be angry?” you heard someone shout towards you. You cringed slightly when other people began to yell horrible comments at you. You closed your eyes as you balled your fists so you didn’t let your rage boil over.

“(Name)?” Master Makarov called in a worried tone once he quietened everyone down.

“Just give me a second. I need to calm down” you said as you took some deep breaths.

“What’s going to happen if you don’t? You don’t look that scary” someone called out to provoke you even more. You released one balled fist as the two large doors to guild exploded into pieces. Some people let out a cry or shriek while others made sure everyone was okay.

“What the hell was that?” you heard Grey ask. You saw Makarov look at you as if he was asking “Was that you?”  You nodded your head as you felt the last of your rage disappear.

“(Name), I just saw a tiny bit of your power and I think you should be an S class wizard. But I’ll need to test you first” Master Makarov said as he came over to you.

“What? How is that fair? She just got here and now she might become an S class wizard?” Natsu asked as he slammed his hands on the table and stood.

“Natsu, I-“you began before he interrupted.

“What happened? What made you change?” Natsu asked as he looked straight into your (e/c) eyes.

“I accepted my fate, I accepted my power” you said as you turned your head to one side to hide the tears that were coming.

“What are you on about?” Grey asked as he stood up himself.

“Um, Grey, your clothes” Lucy said as she looked the other way with a blush dusting her cheeks. Grey looked down and then scrambled to find his clothes. He quickly re-dressed and then looked at you with a stern look.

“I found my purpose in life, something I must do or try to do before I die” you said as you looked at Erza and saw her face twist in shock because she realized you had accepted you were going to die soon. Everyone else had confused expressions on their faces.

“You can’t leave! You just got here!” Erza pleaded as she grabbed your shoulders with a small amount of force.

“I never said anything about leaving Erza” you contradicted her as you gave her a weak smile. Erza gently released her grip and then walked over to where Grey, Natsu and the others were. You turned your head slightly for a moment when you thought you could hear something strange.

“Is something wrong?” Master Makarov asked as he saw the concentrated look on your face. You quickly shook your head and cracked your knuckles.

“Why don’t you leave?” someone called out to you. You pulled a quizzical face when you heard that comment.

“Why do you ask that?” you asked pretending to be oblivious to what the statement was implying.

“Why are you here anyway?” someone else shouted at you before the other person could answer your question.

“Because I-“you began before there was a massive crash that shook the whole building. Everyone in the guild hall quickly tried to grab something as the place shook. You waited until the shaking had stopped before you spoke again.

“This is why I am here. Stay here all of you and don’t move” you ordered everyone before you ran out of the guild hall to fulfil your purpose.
